1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Skillify.dev (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.
2. Description of Service
Skillify.dev provides cloud-based, interactive lab environments for learning DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies. Labs run on provisioned infrastructure and are accessed through a web browser. The Service includes lab sessions, learning paths, certification preparation tracks, and related educational content.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account or allow others to access lab sessions under your credentials.
4. Billing, Credits, and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or yearly basis via Stripe. Each plan includes a defined number of lab sessions and credits per billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over between cycles. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. All payments are in USD.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: use lab environments for cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service attacks, or other malicious activity; attempt to access other users' lab sessions or data; circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or security measures; redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All lab content, course materials, validation logic, and platform code are owned by Skillify.dev. You retain ownership of any solutions, scripts, or configurations you create during lab sessions. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our lab content without written permission.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 14 days of your subscription start date for a full refund. Refunds are not available after 14 days or for partial billing cycles.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Skillify.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Lab environments are temporary and may be terminated; do not store important data in lab sessions.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
